Heavy Equipment Con. Oiler/Lubrication Technician

Job Summary
Perform daily lubrication and preventive maintenance services on heavy construction equipment, including cranes, pavers, and dirt machinery. Collect, label, and analyze oil samples for lab testing while maintaining accurate service records and daily task logs. Conduct equipment inspections, prepare written reports on deficiencies, and ensure work areas remain free from excessive oil and grease buildup. Follow all company and regulatory safety policies, reporting issues promptly. Work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed to support project operations. Supply own hand tools and demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and punctuality at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Class A or B CDL with X endorsement
- Hazmat certification
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must supply own hand tools (up to 11⁄2” wrenches and sockets)
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Dependable
- Self-motivated
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Completion of diesel-related technical coursework
- Strong knowledge of lubrication systems
- Oil sampling skills
- Oil analysis interpretation skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Basic recordkeeping software skills
