Job Summary
CDL Delivery Driver position at EquipmentShare in Rapid City, SD. Responsibilities include operating the vehicle in compliance with state/federal transportation laws, transporting loads safely and on time, maneuvering the truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, assisting with loading/unloading, maintaining invoices and shipping documents, performing routine vehicle service checks, arranging trailers for optimal loading, and performing related duties. Must hold a CDL Class A or chauffeur’s license (as applicable by state), pass background and drug testing, pass a DOT physical, be at least 21, and be able to travel frequently. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time role with potential on-call scheduling and overtime.”,
Required Qualifications
- Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
- Must be able to travel frequently
- This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
