Job Summary
CDL Delivery Driver at EquipmentShare responsible for operating a Class A CDL-equipped vehicle to deliver equipment from the rental facility, transport loads safely under DOT rules, assist with loading/unloading, maintain shipping paperwork, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and support yard organization. Role requires compliance with DOT/ federal and state regulations, background and drug testing, DOT physical, ability to travel, and a minimum age of 21. Schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call compensation; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and more. Location: Gaston, SC (facility serving Columbia, SC).
Required Qualifications
- Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
- Must be able to travel frequently
