Job Summary
Heavy Equipment CDL Driver needed to operate and deliver equipment via truck/trailer, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, assist with loading/unloading, maintain paperwork (invoices, bills of lading), perform routine truck maintenance checks, and support efficient delivery operations at EquipmentShare’s Tucson, AZ facility. Driver will handle loading/unloading, follow safety regulations, complete required documentation, and may require on-call scheduling with additional compensation. Must hold a Class A CDL or state-appropriate license, pass background/drug and DOT physical screenings, and be at least 21 years old. Safety-sensitive role with potential travel and physical demands; strong customer service and coordination skills are needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
