Heavy Equipment CDL Driver at EquipmentShare in Gallup, NM. Drives and delivers equipment, adheres to state and federal transportation laws, assists with loading/unloading, maintains paperwork, and performs routine truck maintenance. Requires a Commercial Driver's License (Class A or state-appropriate), successful background and drug tests, a DOT physical, and being at least 21 years old. On-site, full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule, possible on-call overtime, and safety-sensitive responsibilities. Strong customer service, ability to navigate loading docks, and adherence to safety regulations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
- Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time
- Must be able to travel frequently
- A safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
- Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time
