Job Summary
CDL Delivery Driver at EquipmentShare with a rental facility in Lake Charles, LA. Responsible for operating a truck/trailer to transport loads safely and efficiently, loading/unloading when required, maintaining paperwork (invoices, bills of lading), performing routine vehicle maintenance checks, arranging trailers for loading, and adhering to state/federal transportation laws and safety regulations. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours and possible on-call compensation. Emphasis on customer service, real-time access to delivery details via EquipmentShare’s tech platform, and safety throughout the delivery process.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
