Job Summary
Diagnose and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers; perform repairs and maintenance on wheel ends, brake systems, and air suspension; troubleshoot and repair electrical and diagnostic issues; service cooling systems and air conditioning; perform oil changes, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections; repair and replace tires; conduct DOT inspections and identify needed repairs to ensure compliance; complete work orders and service documentation accurately; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow all company safety procedures and service standards; communicate repair needs and job status with management and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in heavy duty truck and trailer repair preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial truck and trailer systems
- Experience with brakes, wheel ends, suspension, electrical, and diagnostics
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- CDL is a plus, if applicable
