Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including brake jobs, chamber replacements, and wheel adjustments. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and examine system parts for damage, leaks, or structural deficiencies. Accurately complete DOT forms, work orders, and all associated documentation in a timely fashion. Follow safety protocols and company policies while maintaining a results-oriented pace. Requires minimum one year of diesel experience, valid Class C license, and Federal Annual/Brake Inspector certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Pass background check and drug screen
