Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including PMs, DOT inspections, brake-related service (brake job, brake chamber, slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal/end checks), and thorough documentation. Inspect for damage, wear, and safety system integrity; complete DOT forms and work orders accurately; follow safety protocols and company policies. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire)
