Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including preventive maintenance inspections, brake jobs, and wheel end adjustments. Examine system parts for damage, leaks, or structural deficiencies while adhering to safety protocols. Accurately complete DOT forms, work orders, and all associated documentation in a timely fashion. Requires minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience, a valid Class C license, and Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification. Performs duties at multiple locations with competitive pay, commission, and a structured training program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Pass background check
- Pass drug screen
