Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including brake jobs, slack adjuster replacements, and wheel end adjustments. Perform DOT inspections, examine system parts for damage or leaks, and accurately complete all associated documentation and work order forms. Follow safety protocols and company policies while maintaining a results-oriented pace. Valid Class C license and Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required. Minimum one year diesel mechanic experience needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Valid Class C Driver's License
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification
- Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service-oriented
- Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Pass background check
- Pass drug screen
