Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, retrofit, and maintain balers, compactors, refuse trucks, vacuum trucks, and street sweepers in the shop and at customer sites. Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems using schematics, then test repairs before customer delivery. Advise clients on equipment status, coordinate with dispatchers to meet service commitments, and complete documentation for billing and warranty. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with up to 25% travel to job sites.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical repair skill and the judgment to work with minimal supervision
- Comfort reading electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Welding experience
- Your own set of hand tools beyond the basics
- The ability to juggle priorities and keep an organized, efficient workflow
- Authorization to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- Journeyman-level experience
- Experience with refuse trucks, refuse equipment, vacuum trucks or street sweepers
- CDL Class A or B
- Mechanical or ASE certifications
- Confidence with diagnostic software and technology
