Job Summary
The Heavy Duty Repair Technician performs service activities primarily in the main service shop for customer and/or sales and rental fleet equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, repairing and rebuilding engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components, documenting service activities, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidates should possess an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field, have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and either be a current member of Local 3 of the Operating Engineers or be willing to join.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in heavy equipment service
- Membership in Local 3 of the Operating Engineers or willingness to become a member
