Job Summary
Peterson Cat is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Repair Technician to perform service activities at job sites and customer locations for customer and rental fleet equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe working environment, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing repairs on engines and hydraulic components, and maintaining documentation of work completed. Candidates should possess an Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or a closely related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in heavy equipment repair. Strong customer service skills and basic computer knowledge are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Diesel Technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience in heavy equipment repair
- Membership in Local 3 of the Operating Engineers or willingness to obtain membership
- Drug screen and background check required

- Ability to use service software
