Job Summary
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The role includes ensuring optimal performance of trucks, trailers, hydraulic cranes, drilling rig engines, and forklifts. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in heavy-duty mechanics
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline engines
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics
- Effective use of hand tools
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of transmissions, air brake systems, and alignment
- Familiarity with hydraulics, suspension, and HVAC systems
- Ability to operate a forklift
Desired Qualifications
- Dealership experience is a plus
- EPA and OSHA certifications are beneficial
- Welding and fabrication experience is a bonus
