Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair power generators, heavy trucks/trailers, and industrial/farm equipment. Balance shop-based work in Moncton with field-service duties at a remote camp in Newfoundland, following a standard 8-hour day with a unique 8-for-12 rotation in camp (12-hour pay structure comprising 8 base hours plus 4 guaranteed OT at 1.5x). All travel to NL, private accommodations, and meals are provided while on rotation. Emphasizes high autonomy in remote settings, stringent safety, and detailed service documentation. Requires 5+ years of field HD Mechanic/Power Tech experience and familiarity with power generation, trucks/trailers, and farm equipment; FIFO/remote-camp experience is an asset. The role offers top-tier hourly rates ($47-$55/hr) with overtime structure and a hybrid travel lifestyle between Moncton and NL.
