Job Summary
Diagnose, inspect, service, and perform maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, focusing on diesel engines, hydraulics, and transmissions. Troubleshoot issues related to turbos, injectors, and radiators while conducting preventative maintenance to ensure road-worthiness and safety. Research and order parts with appropriate approvals, perform maintenance on trailers as needed, and maintain a clean work environment. Report damages or faulty equipment to management. This role supports a local transportation company with long-term employees who value community, safety, and quality service.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience working with heavy duty vehicles
- Ability to work overtime if required
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A Commercial Inspection license
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
