Job Summary
Support major projects on customer mine sites by performing PCRs, NEPs, and overhauls on heavy-duty equipment. Complete required paperwork and maintain clear communication with customers, maintenance teams, product support, and sales support. Adhere to on-site safety requirements and provide reference support as needed. Work independently to create instant value for clients while maintaining Finning's customer service commitment. This role involves a 7x7 shift rotation with potential day or night shifts, including field premiums and night shift pay. Candidates must hold an Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification and possess 3+ years of assembly, disassembly, and overhaul experience. Required Qualifications
- Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
- 3+ years experience in assembly and disassembly, performing overhauls
- 5+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience
- ability to obtain Customer Site Access (drug, alcohol and fitness testing)
- capacity to wear a respirator
- Union Membership
- Safety conscious team player
- excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar mining product line: 793D, 793F, D10T, D11, 24M
