Heavy Duty Mechanic

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Kelowna, BC. You will lubricate, perform breakdown maintenance and scheduled repairs of mixer trucks and other equipment to meet manufacturer standards, operate and inspect machines to diagnose problems, test repaired equipment for proper performance, and perform miscellaneous mechanical duties. The role requires Red Seal/Provincial Journeyman certification and proficiency with transmissions, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, knowledge of DOT inspection standards, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Pre-employment physical and background checks are required; unionized environment with opportunities for training, advancement, and overtime. Familiarity with MS Office and maintenance tools is preferred.
