Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, emergency vehicles, and specialty fleet equipment including salt trucks and sweepers. Perform preventative maintenance, major repairs, and field service calls for equipment requiring assistance outside the shop. Execute welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed for diverse systems ranging from engines and transmissions to brakes, hydraulics, and electrical components. Required Qualifications
- Michigan Master Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel/truck mechanic experience

- CDL A
- Ability to obtain CDL A after hire
