Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair equipment per CAT guidelines; perform condition reporting and bench testing; operate engine dynos; interface with customers, product teams and sales support; collaborate with supervisors on various tasks; contribute to equipment and facility continuous improvements; uphold Finning Customer Service Commitment; CAT certified training and related skill development provided by Finning.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Agriculture, Automotive)
- Apprentices will be considered based on experience
- Dedication to safety
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
- Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
- Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets
