Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain connectivity hardware/software; complete technical documentation; troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs; interface with customers, products, and sales support; work with supervisor/lead hand on tasks; provide on-site safety compliance support; 14x14 continuous dayshift rotation at Syncrude/Aurora sites; requires Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification and a valid driver’s license; union membership required; must be able to obtain Customer Site access and wear a respirator where applicable; Finning is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a recent clean abstract
- Experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Strong field troubleshooting skills on Caterpillar mining product line
- Safety-conscious team player with good communication and organizational skills
