Job Summary
Partner directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak performance by troubleshooting and overseeing repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar equipment in both the shop and the field. Leverage technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver reliability across mining, construction, petroleum, forestry, and power systems applications. You will travel to and from customer sites across the territory, utilizing a tooled company truck, with hotel and per diem or camp provided when applicable. This full-time role requires Heavy Duty Mechanic certification and experience with Caterpillar and general line equipment repair.
Required Qualifications
- Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- Previous Caterpillar and general line equipment repair experience
- Experience working out of a service truck
- Completion, or be in the process of completing Finning S-level courses
- Must be able and willing to travel to and from customer sites across our territory
- Ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing)
- Ability to wear a respirator where applicable
- Union Membership

- Computer literacy along with an understanding of Finning systems and software programs
