Job Summary
Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices and securing equipment with chock blocks and jack stands. Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, loaders, and vacuum trucks. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair light and heavy-duty vehicles by disassembling, inspecting, and replacing worn parts. Fit and adjust new or repaired components while completing and submitting all associated paperwork for tracking maintenance schedules. Maintain a clean, hazard-free shop area. Perform routine and specific maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed/Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 5+ years' experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
- Class 5 Driver's License
