Job Summary
Heavy Duty Mechanic – Apprentice in Grande Prairie, AB, joining Calfrac’s Maintenance Department to perform daily repairs and preventative maintenance on well servicing equipment, diagnose and repair equipment promptly, and work in both shop and field environments. Requires ongoing education toward Journeyperson Heavy Duty, Millwright, or Automotive Certification; CVIP/DOT inspections would be an asset; holds a Class 5 license; high school diploma or GED preferred. Required Qualifications
- Working towards completion of the Journeyperson Heavy Duty, Millwright or Automotive Certification
- Certified to complete CVIP / DOT inspections would be considered an asset
- Unrestricted Class 5 driver’s license with satisfactory driver’s abstract
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience as a heavy duty mechanic, apprentice, journeyperson, or related roles is an asset
