Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites for repairs while maintaining the service vehicle in a clean, professional manner. Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain electronic documentation of work orders daily. Support pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts as needed. This Safety Sensitive role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 5+ years of experience repairing construction equipment. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
- Must be able to perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision
- Must provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to travel to customer job sites
- Must be able to assist in the training of lower level technicians
- Must be able to maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner
- Must be able to assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
