Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, trailers, equipment, and fleet vehicles in a field and shop context. Expect a mix of field service and shop work with occasional overtime; perform preventative maintenance and servicing; troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, air systems, and driveline components; complete inspections and provide repair recommendations; maintain digital work orders and service documentation; communicate professionally with customers and teammates; ensure a clean, organized, safe workspace; operate across multiple industries with heavy equipment, construction, and fleet vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician, Commercial Transport Technician, or registered Apprentice
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage field service calls independently
- Good communication and a professional approach with customers
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Assets That'll Make You Stand Out: CVIP Licence, Class 1 Driver's Licence, Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Volvo, or similar platforms, Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience, Background working on mixed fleets and construction equipment
