Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hydrovac, vacuum, and various trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Interpret work orders, manuals, and diagrams; troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system failures; ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and MSA regulations; document work using maintenance systems; communicate additional repair needs to Fleet Manager; train and mentor other technicians; work 10–12 hour days with occasional weekends; indoor/outdoor work environment with exposure to loud equipment and industrial conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty construction equipment, Hydrovac/Vacuum trucks, or fleet repair (preferred)
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must maintain an approved MVR; Class A or B CDL preferred but not required
- Must provide personal hand tools required to perform the job
