Job Summary
Diagnose truck problems, create repair plans, and perform repairs including chassis, engine, and aftertreatment systems. Tag warranty parts, fill out parts requisitions, and turn in parts with core value. Communicate daily updates to the Foreman and maintain organized toolboxes and safe workstations. Perform advanced diagnostics, root cause failure analysis, and vibration analysis depending on certification level. Lift up to 50 pounds and pass physical examination requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must have engine repair experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Detroit is a plus
- High school diploma or the equivalent is preferred
