Job Summary
Technicians diagnose truck problems and perform repairs, create repair plans, and fill out parts requisitions. They tag warranty parts, return cores, and communicate updates to their Foreman daily while keeping tools organized and workstations clean and safe. The role progresses through D-C-B-A Technician levels (basic chassis/engine repairs to advanced diagnostics and aftertreatment work). Required skills include high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and a proactive mindset. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and completing post-offer drug screening, physical exam (lift test), and background check. Compensation ranges from $20-$50 per hour plus production bonus; benefits include 401k with match, health/dental/vision insurance, HSA/FSA options, employer-paid life insurance, and vacation/sick leave.
