Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Waldorf, MD)

Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stationary equipment to company standards, including trucks, tractor-trailers, and hydraulic systems. Proactively identify issues, coordinate repairs with the Manager and team, and supervise a Mechanic's Helper. Conduct required inspections, complete maintenance documentation accurately, and respond to road calls and on-site breakdowns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while following all safety and environmental regulations. Handle heavy materials up to 100 lbs and perform extended periods of standing and climbing. Work in an indoor shop and outdoor field environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals. Share knowledge by training fellow employees and provide coverage as needed.
