Job Summary
Conduct high-quality repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electronics systems. Read repair orders, diagnose root causes, and plan procedures while documenting findings in Service Notes. Coordinate with Parts and Shop Foreman for updates, perform quality checks, and road test vehicles to verify customer complaints are resolved. Maintain OEM, warranty, and dealership standards throughout all work. Shift available Tuesday-Friday, 12pm-10pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Class A CDL
- Certificate from a diesel tech training school or a minimum of 4 years mechanical medium- or heavy-duty truck service experience in a shop setting or military installation
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to providing quality work
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred
- Class A CDL highly preferred
- Welding and fabrication skills
