Job Summary
Inspect trucks and trailers to DOT standards, diagnose and repair powertrain, motor, transmission, suspension, and HVAC systems including sensors, harnesses, and DPF/DEF components. Utilize Incite, Tech Tool, and Diagnostic Link for computer diagnostics on electrical, lighting, and ADAS systems. Maintain valid driver's license and availability for rotating on-call weeks from Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility for 11am to 9pm shifts when accommodating customers. Work 40-50 hours weekly, Monday through Friday or rotating on-call schedules, with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 4+ years' Experience
- 4 to 5+ years Diesel Engine Repair
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Self-motivated
- Leadership skills
- Must be available for On Call Rotation
- Experience to diagnose and repair systems including, but not limited to: Powertrain, motor, and transmission
- Experience to diagnose and repair systems including, but not limited to: Overheads Tuneups Cooling Engine Acessories - Alts, belts, AC system, air compressors, fuel pumps, power steering Injectors, harness seals, Hydraulic systems, PTO's, Pumps Plumbing, Drive line components
- Experience to diagnose and repair systems including, but not limited to: Suspension including airbags, shocks, leaf springs. Leveling valves air systems, Differentials, Driveshafts Steering systems Pitman, draglink, tie rod ends, assembly, kingpins, Hubs Axle seals, Bearings
- Experience to diagnose and repair systems including, but not limited to: HVAC systems (certification preferred) AC, heat, Electrical, Lights, ADAS, SCR, DPF, DEF systems Diagnostic of sensors, harness, filters
- Computer diagnostics with Incite
- Computer diagnostics with Tech Tool
- Computer diagnostics with Diagnostic Link
