Job Summary
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. Utilize vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and diagnose issues while visually inspecting machinery. Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and repair times. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards and perform assigned tasks under limited supervision. Full-time role with day and night shifts available; pay range is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Requires three to five years of hands-on technical experience with medium duty class 8 vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Diesel/Hydraulic mechanic with troubleshooting experience
- A/C and Electrical Systems knowledge
- Must be able to visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Three - Five (3-5) Years hands on technical experience in the maintenance and repair of medium duty class 8 vehicles and equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Must have their tools/specialty tools
