Heavy Diesel Technician - Auckland

You will perform workshop major repairs and component rebuilds, pre-delivery inspections, service and repair of hire fleet and forklifts, EWP servicing, and maintenance across a mix of field site visits (about 70%) and workshop work (about 30%). You’ll be on an on-call roster (compensated) and will mentor apprentices. The role requires a blend of electro-mechanical knowledge across forklifts, EWP, agricultural, cranes or earthmoving equipment, hydraulic systems expertise, and strong auto electrical diagnostic skills with experience operating diagnostic equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous; familiarity with 24V–48V battery operated equipment is preferred. Trade qualifications are advantageous; flexibility to cross-train between EWP and forklift brands. The role is based at Mount Wellington, Auckland, NZ, and is a full-time position with overtime and occasional Saturday hours.”,
