Job Summary
Heavy Diesel Mechanic needed for a full-time workshop role in WesTrac’s Perth Branch. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar and associated construction equipment; work on component rebuilds and full machine rebuilds; perform general maintenance and servicing; maintain safety, quality, and efficiency in all workshop activities. Ideal candidates are trade-qualified Mobile Plant Mechanics with hands-on experience on heavy construction equipment, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and punctuality. Tickets include LF High Risk Licence, DG Licence, with Air Conditioning Licence desirable. Required Qualifications
- Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent Plant Mechanic trade)
- LF High Risk Licence
- DG Licence
- Air Conditioning Licence – desirable
- Trade-qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic
