Job Summary
Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician needed in East Tamaki, NZ to service, maintain and repair heavy mining, earthmoving and quarry equipment across multiple sites. Role requires diagnostic work, fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and attendance at breakdowns, with independent and team work in a safety-focused environment. Willingness to travel, work flexible hours, and operate with a company vehicle provided. Must be trade-qualified with NZ driver’s licence; Class 4 licence advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience with heavy diesel machinery, field service, and diagnostics
- Experience with quarry, mining, or heavy industrial equipment preferred
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential)
- Class 4 licence advantageous
- Ability to work independently and manage field-based workloads
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required
