Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and service Caterpillar diesel-powered machinery in shop or on-site field service; perform maintenance, rebuilds, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic systems, install components, and deliver field support with a company-provided truck; work independently or with mentorship in a structured shop environment to keep machines operating at peak performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must own proper tools to perform repairs
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
- Experience using Cat ET or other diagnostic software
- Prior earthmoving equipment or military mechanic experience
- Ability to work independently in a shop or field setting
- Certification or technical school background in diesel mechanics
