Job Summary

Senior Project Manager responsible for the financial performance and overall management direction of multi-million-dollar heavy civil construction projects, including dams, reservoirs, locks, DOT roadway work, bridges, and utilities. Works closely with the operations team, staff at all levels, and owners/owners' engineers; requires travel around Texas with residence allowed anywhere in the Texas region. Leads project planning, budgeting, cost reporting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and risk/issue resolution; ensures adherence to contract terms, engineering standards, and company standards; liaises with government agencies and stakeholders; emphasizes safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or technical field (or equivalent), professional licenses, 10+ years of experience in heavy civil PM, and proficiency with Primavera, Viewpoint, HCSS Heavy Bid, and P6; OSHA 30-hour or equivalent within last five years.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or another Technical Field or equivalent experience
  • Professional license, certifications and contractor’s licenses
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering and project management
  • Demonstrated experience in Heavy Civil Construction
  • Strong computer skills, including Primavera, Viewpoint, HCSS Heavy Bid, and P6
  • 30-hour OSHA construction safety course within the last five years or equivalent training
  • Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within the business and externally
