Job Summary
Plan and formulate civil construction projects according to engineering standards, manage project budgets and submit accurate cost projections, and develop realistic schedules. Ensure overall project quality control, review designs for compliance, and enforce site safety policies. Create project documentation, approve equipment and personnel changes, and oversee subcontractor performance. Conduct weekly team meetings for scheduling and costing reviews, document ongoing financial projections, and submit payment requisitions. Demonstrate thorough understanding of contract terms, milestones, and delay reasons. Requires 5+ years on heavy/highway projects with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Local travel expected; valid driver's license required.
