Job Summary
Install storm, sanitary, and water pipe systems on commercial construction projects by measuring, cutting, positioning, and connecting pipe according to project plans. Excavate trenches, support grading and site preparation, and spread construction materials while following supervisor direction to keep work moving safely. Maintain organized tools and equipment throughout the workday, traveling to commercial job sites throughout the greater Philadelphia area while reporting to the Aston, Pennsylvania office. Requires at least two years of pipe laying or heavy civil construction experience, ability to lift 80 pounds or more, and a valid driver's license. OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of pipe laying or heavy civil construction experience
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction work and lift 80 pounds or more
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a construction crew
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to Aston, Pennsylvania and surrounding project locations
Desired Qualifications
- Underground utility installation experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it
