Job Summary
Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and rollers to perform grading, cut and fill, and site preparation, including trenching and excavation for utilities. Read blueprints and daily work plans while coordinating with crew members and maintaining equipment on active job sites. Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards throughout the greater Philadelphia area, reporting to the Aston, PA home base. Requires 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience, excavation or grading background, and valid driver's license. Full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Experience with excavation, grading, or sitework
- Ability to read blueprints and site layouts
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Aston, PA and surrounding job sites
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy civil construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent attendance and contribute effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field crews
