Job Summary
Lead and manage all field operations on assigned projects by supervising foremen, directing subcontractors, and enforcing safety policies with crews. Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, order procurement of materials, and coordinate various construction phases to ensure completion on time and within budget. Inspect work in progress to confirm adherence to specifications and schedules while resolving problems with management and engineering personnel. Prepare progress reports on materials and costs, adjust work assignments, and handle employee evaluations and disciplinary actions. Requires MOT certification, OSHA competency, and experience with FDOT projects.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience on FDOT projects
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of construction including underground utilities, grading, earthwork, and roadwork
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- MOT certified Worksite Traffic Supervisor
- OSHA certified competent person
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- DOT: 2 years (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
