Job Summary
Develop and process submittals, change orders, and RFIs while maintaining project documentation logs. Perform quantity takeoffs for estimating and field verification, and support the project management team using HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob software. Coordinate with field staff to ensure current project documents, track schedules to flag delays, and participate in client and agency meetings. Assist in preparing subcontracts, reviewing pay applications, and maintaining organized project files for closeout documentation. This entry-level role supports heavy civil construction projects ranging from $100K to $10M across the Portland area, requiring a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Currently possess or are pursuing a BS in Construction Management/Civil Engineering Track
- Excellent Computer Proficiency including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work within various Project Management and Estimating computer software programs
- Valid Drivers License
- Able to drive to and attend job walk-throughs at project sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Background check
