Job Summary
Heavy civil construction project management role in Austin, TX overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil projects leveraging automation and mission control technology. Responsibilities include managing project planning, budgets, schedules, resources, safety compliance, quality, client communications, and subcontractor/ supplier contracts; training and guiding operators of automated/ remote-controlled earth-moving equipment; collecting/analyzing data to drive automation and process improvements; assisting with pre-construction activities and submittals across the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management
- At least 1 year focused on earthworks or heavy civil construction
- Proven track record of managing projects involving heavy equipment and earth-moving activities
- Budgets ranging from $50,000 to $20 million
- Strong understanding of earthworks construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and scheduling/budgeting tools
