Job Summary
Install and repair residential and commercial propane and oil burner equipment while performing efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections. Troubleshoot heating systems in accordance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company policies to eliminate call-backs and reduce liability. Promote company products by advising customers on best options for specific needs and maintaining a neat service vehicle with fully stocked parts inventories. Record and report all parts and labor for service calls immediately, and participate in night and weekend on-call schedules as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Apprentice, Journeyman or Master designation licensing is necessary in states where required.
- Applicable propane CETP certification is required for propane technicians.
- All technicians must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
- All technicians must have a valid motor vehicle drivers' license.
- Participates in night and weekend on-call schedule as necessary.
