Job Summary
Set up, operate, and tend to heating equipment to heat-treat steel coil/wire. Load and unload coils with an overhead crane and forklift; monitor and adjust gas and temperature per chart; work with RX generator; perform tensile pull, hardness, and upset tests; cut samples and tag; complete production and maintenance documentation; maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures. Requires reading/writing English, HS diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and ability to work overtime on weekends/holidays. Required Qualifications
- Able to read, write and speak English
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience operating forklift and overhead crane in an industrial setting
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
