Job Summary
TEAM, Inc. is looking for motivated and reliable Heat-Treating Assistants to support Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) processes. This entry-level role involves setting up, monitoring, and removing equipment for heating materials such as pressure vessels and piping. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug/alcohol screening. Candidates must be willing to travel and work in various environments and conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces. Previous experience in thermal processing or safety certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
- Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measurement devices.
- Willingness to travel and work in various environments is typically found in Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power, Municipality, Aerospace, and other type settings.
- Willingness and ability to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience assisting with PWHT, induction heating, or thermal processing.
- Basic electrical knowledge or experience working around power distribution equipment.
- Familiarity with welding, inspection, or other industrial trades.
- Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools/equipment.
