Seeking a Heat Transfer & Fluid Flow Engineer to lead fiber manufacturing technology development, improve manufacturing productivity, and ensure safety compliance. Requires an MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with 0-5 years experience.
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in thermal/fluid sciences.
- Experience in mechanical design, drawings, and standards.
- 0–5 years of industrial design/operations experience.
- Willingness to travel 25–35%.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with commercial CAD, CFD codes, and FEA codes.
- Experience in design/testing of high-temperature systems with material selection challenges.
- Experience in design/testing of high-speed rotating systems.
- Work experience in extreme environments with limited measurement access.
- Knowledge of combustion system design and/or modeling.
- Knowledge of induction heating and alternative fuels/decarbonization.
