Job Summary
The Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator is responsible for practicing safety rules, following instructions, and assisting supervisors while operating machinery in industrial construction settings. The role requires quality work based on project specifications, proper mobilization and demobilization of equipment, maintenance checks, and lifting heavy materials. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to safely operate motorized equipment in various environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years related experience excavating near underground utilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Desired Qualifications
- Class A CDL with airbrakes and tanker endorsement preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.
- Must be clean shaven and able to work while wearing a respirator and other personal protective equipment when required.
